JOIN US FOR OUR PARISH LENTEN MISSION
at St. Timothy Catholic Church
March 7th & 8th, 2022
HOPE FROM THE ASHES:
MAKE IT A DIFFERENT KIND OF LENT.
As our churches are facing growing disaffiliation and many people are increasingly struggling in the wake of a global pandemic, the future can appear uncertain. Yet, it is within the season of Lent – interestingly enough – where we can find great hope in guiding people back to our faith. We especially notice this on Ash Wednesday every year when Christian worship spaces around the world are packed with women and men who are giving faith a second chance. Together, we will explore this incredible phenomenon and how each of us can respond by embarking on a joyful Lenten journey of intentional sharing of faith and pastoral accompaniment.
If you feel worried, remorse, or hopeless about record disaffiliation and disengagement from the Church, and especially within our own families and communities, this year’s parish mission is perfect for you.
This mission will not only give you a renewed spirit for the Lenten journey ahead; it will be an opportunity for us to become stewards of the hope for which we long.
